Over the weekend, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden called a female voter from New Hampshire a “lying dog-face pony solider,” an insult that only Biden would use, in response to the voter’s question about Biden’s performance in Iowa.
“How do you explain the performance in Iowa, and why should the voters believe that you can win a national election?” The voter, Madison Moore, asked Biden.
“You ever been to a caucus?” Biden replied.
After Moore indicated she had, Biden fired back, “No you haven’t. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier.”
“You gotta be honest,” he continued. “I’m gonna be honest with you. It was a little bit confusing in Iowa. But let’s assume it was all exactly right.”

Moore responded to the incident on Fox News, saying “A lot of what he’s saying seems to be very pathos-based and very sad and we’ve heard a lot about deaths and cancer and people losing their jobs and to me he doesn’t really seem very solution oriented. I don’t think he has the momentum to carry this to a national election.”
